The games line is the case and the kill. Our number has him at 4 points because we expect him to play about 2 games, with a range of 0 to 7 once injury risk is in. Last season he managed 2 appearances and 4.8 points a game, and 13 healthy weeks he didn't play at all. At 30.9 and entering year nine, after 2024 ended at week 7 and 2023 is the only full season on this sheet, the availability question isn't a worry, it's the projection.
The role doesn't rescue him. A 9.5% target share last year is tiny, and a 3.0-yard average depth of target is as short as it gets. The one usage rank that pops, red-zone share of his own touches at WR17, is 2 touches total. Now he's on a new team with a new play caller in Matt Nagy, and the target room costs him 0.9 points a game by our math. The Giants won 4 games last year and sit at a 7.5 win total from the books this season, so the passing environment isn't lifting anyone. Nothing here says a real role is coming.
The 2023 season, 57.9 points over 16 games, is three years old and the only reason the tail reaches 18. Don't draft him. He's not worth a pick at any point in your draft, and if you're tempted, the answer is a waiver add in week 8 if the Giants are somehow throwing to him.
