Our read
Written Sun 12:01 am Central, for week 6
Cole Turner is on injured reserve on Sunday's report and the Dolphins are on their bye anyway, so week 6 of 2026 gives you nothing from him. He has yet to appear in a game this season, and Miami lists him fifth at tight end behind Greg Dulcich, Will Kacmarek, Seydou Traore and Justin Joly. Our rest-of-season order carries him at 9.4 PPR points as TE121. If a roster spot matters, he's a cut candidate. Look elsewhere for tight end help this week.
Written Oct 18, from his facts through last season
IR since before week 3 of 2026, five missed weeks and counting, and no headline since. Even healthy he was listed fifth among Miami tight ends, behind Greg Dulcich, Will Kacmarek, Seydou Traore and Justin Joly, so there was never a path to targets here worth waiting through a designation for.
We set him at 5.0 points for 2026 on 2 expected games, with the middle range running 0 to 10. That is what a fifth tight end on a new staff, Jeff Hafley and Bobby Slowik both new, earns on our board. His only season with any production was 2023, 23 points over 8 games, and he has played zero games in each of the two years since, both times as a healthy scratch rather than an injured one. The target picture in Miami leaves even less room than the depth chart does: Tyreek Hill took 24% of the 2025 targets and Jaylen Waddle took 23%, so nearly half the passing volume went out the door before anyone else ate. And this offense fed that pair slowly, 36.7 seconds a play with passes on 52% of situation-neutral plays, a 7-win team that never needed a fifth tight end involved.
What settles it is that he plays no game while the IR list holds him, and the board ranks him under every available tight end in the meantime. With his bye in week 6 of 2026 coming up, there is no week to even circle. Cut him and put the spot on a tight end who can take a snap for you next week.
