Our read
Written Sep 8, from his facts through last season
The number that ends the conversation is expected games: one, with a range of zero to four once injury risk is in. You cannot draft a running back who may not see the field. Our projection puts him at 27 season points, RB99 on our board, which is about 20 points under what backs drafted around his ADP have managed in past seasons. There is no ADP on file for him at all, which tells you drafters are not spending a pick on him anywhere.
What keeps him from being a zero name is the situation. He landed in an offense McVay runs himself, one that passed on 63% of situation-neutral plays last year and won 12 games. The books have the Rams' win total for this season posted at 11.5, so nobody expects this offense to fall off. That's a real NFL ecosystem, and undrafted rookies have climbed out of worse spots. He's 23 on opening day and enters his first season out of the 2026 class, so if a role opens up midyear he has the age to run with it. His bye lands in week 11, so he costs you a bench spot in the middle of the stretch run. But the sheet gives us nothing on his role behind the starter, no usage track, no headlines. You'd be drafting a depth chart guess.
The call: he's a last-roster-spot flier only, and only in a very deep league where you can carry four backs. In anything with standard bench size, let him go. The 3.1-point cliff behind his tier means the backs grouped with him are near-identical, so if you do take a shot late, take whoever's name you like best and move on.
