Our read

Written Oct 18, from his facts through last season

Week 5 of 2026 came and went with Bobo still on IR, where he has sat since before week 3, and weeks 1 through 5 are all did-not-play. A guy with zero games and zero headlines is not a roster decision, he is a housekeeping one.

Rest of season8.7PPR points from week 6
Preseason projection6.0projected PPR points

The 2025 tape gives no reason to wait on a return either. Five games, 0.8 points a game, never above the position's weekly median once, and 20 receiving yards all season. His 0.7% target share ranked 216th among 239 qualifying receivers, and Smith-Njigba and Kupp combined for 52% of Seattle's targets a year ago. He is now listed seventh among SEA wideouts with Shaheed and Tory Horton also ahead of him. Receivers in his situation tend to lose 0.9 points a game from one season to the next, which is the wrong direction for a receiver who averaged under a point to begin with.

There is one grain of something in the file: his yards per target climbed from 6.3 in 2024 to 10 in 2025. But that came on almost no volume, and a 28-year-old undrafted receiver who was a healthy scratch for nine weeks in 2025 does not turn efficiency into fantasy output at the bottom of a depth chart. Our preseason number was 6.0 points for the full season, built on just 3 expected games, and five missed weeks have already eaten into that. Whatever wire options are sitting out there, this is the spot to spend on one.
