Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
The week 2 and week 3 of 2026 zeros are the whole season so far. One target across two games, no catches, then the IR designation landed before week 4 of 2026 and he has not been seen since. While he is on that list he sits below every available receiver on the board, which means he is not even rosterable in most setups.

Preseason projection112projected PPR points
The case was shaky before any of this. He played 4 games in all of 2025, missed 13 weeks, and finished WR137 among 240 qualifiers at 7.5 points a game. His points a game fell from 10.42 in 2024 to 7.48 in 2025. There is at least a real season underneath him: 135.4 points over 13 games in 2024, WR55 among 193, and his yards per target climbed from 8.7 to 11.9 between those two years. But the room got no easier. Egbuka and Evans each pulled 23% of Tampa's 2025 targets, 47% between them, and receivers in his spot have shed 0.9 points a game on average going from one season to the next. He barely touched the ball even when active last year, 13 touches all season, and never took a carry inside the ten.
Our preseason number was 112 points, and that needed 12 games at 9.3 a game. He has played two. His bye in week 10 of 2026 is still ahead, and there is nothing in the recent news to suggest a return date. Let him go and use the spot on a player who is actually active.
