Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
Jayden Reed sits on IR with three straight missed weeks behind him, weeks 3, 4 and 5 of 2026, and no return date on the board. That is the decision in front of you. Before it, the profile was already thin: 146 points from us for the season, WR51 at the position, and a 2025 where he managed 49 points in five games. He cleared 13.5 once all year.
The role does not rescue him. Green Bay lists him second at receiver behind Christian Watson, and in 2025 Keeney-James and Watson together took 39% of the targets in this passing game. Receivers in that crowded-room setup dropped 0.9 points a game the following season. His own 2025 was 13.2% of the targets on a 41.7% snap share, with an average depth of just 8.1 yards, so the ceiling play is not in the profile either. His yards per target fell too, from 13.6 in 2024 to 10.7 in 2025, so the efficiency went with the volume.
There is a real history here worth weighing. 2024 gave 197 points and WR29 across all 17 weeks, so the talent showed two seasons ago. But he missed 10 games in 2025, and our preseason accounting gave him only 13 games for 2026, about 11.2 a game, which he has not come near. The two games he did play this season went for 3.2 points a game on 8 targets, 4 catches and 24 yards. If you have an IR spot to park him in, hold him and wait for word on a return. If bench spots are tight, the available receivers on your wire beat a player who cannot take a snap.
