Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
The zero in the touchdown column is what decides this. Seventeen catches and 178 yards through five weeks of 2026 is fine journeyman volume, but without a score he's averaging 7.0 points a game, and the usage doesn't promise one is coming. He's taken 7% of ARI's red-zone carries and targets in his games, 4 of 59, which ranks him WR47 among 64 receivers with 20 or more touches. Last season he saw 2 red-zone touches all year. At 31, in his tenth season, that's not a role about to grow.
The target room is the deeper problem. McBride and Wilson combined for 48% of ARI's targets in 2025, and Bourne arrived from SF into that pile as the third receiver listed. Receivers in his spot, joining a crowded pass game, have lost 0.9 points a game from one season to the next on average. We expected 75 points from him across the whole season, and through five weeks of 2026 he's tracking right at the 5.8 a game we set for him, so the touches are still coming. It's just capped. His air yards share is 9% of the team's, second-worst group on our board among qualifiers, and 0 carries to add.
What keeps him rosterable in deeper formats is the two big weeks, 15.5 in week 1 of 2026 and 12 in week 5 of 2026, and the fact he hasn't missed a game yet despite an injury history that cost him most of the second half of 2023. The bye lands in week 14 of 2026. In a 12-team league, hold him only if you carry wide receiver depth, and move on the week the targets dip below ten in consecutive games.
