Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
The role never showed up. Denver lists him fourth among its running backs, behind J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey and Jonah Coleman, and six weeks into 2026 the box scores agree: 6 carries, 22 rush yards, 6 catches for 67 yards, no scores. He got 7 targets, which is the only thread worth pulling, because last season his target share ranked RB54 even while his snap share sat at RB95. But targets alone do not make a roster spot when the touches run this thin.
The history says the same thing. He averaged 2.2 points a game across 16 games in 2025, cleared the position's weekly median once, and his best week was 4.8 points in week 13 of 2025. He has never cleared 15 points in a week he played. This season is right on that line, 3.0 points a game over his 5 games, with a 1.1 in week 5 of 2026 and a 0.6 in week 6 of 2026. The usage profile does not help: 6 red-zone touches and just 2 inside the ten last year, with an average depth of target of -1.4 yards, RB89 among 130 qualifying backs.
He sat out week 1 of 2026 and is marked Q since before week 6 of 2026. Our preseason number was 40 points, most outcomes landing between 24 and 57, and none of that needs him on a roster. We would drop him, even in deeper leagues with a bench short on targets.
His bye is week 10 of 2026, still to come.
