Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
He is on IR as of before week 6 of 2026, and that decides everything for you right now. Whatever he gave you through week 4 of 2026, he gives you nothing through the stretch, and our board slots him under every available receiver until Kansas City clears him. That 28.1-point explosion in week 4 of 2026 is worth remembering when you decide whether to eat a roster spot, but you cannot start a man who plays no game.
The case for holding him somewhere on the bench rests on the downfield profile. His average depth of target this year sat at 18.7 yards across 15 targets, second among the 85 receivers with enough volume to qualify, and he dropped none of them. He finished 2025 with 26.9 yards a catch attempt, third in the league, so this is the same deep-speed weapon doing it with a bigger role. Andy Reid calling plays helps anyone running that way.
The pushback is the room he lives in. Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy sit ahead of him, and Rice alone pulled 29% of the targets last season. Among receivers in his spot, a crowded group has cost about 0.9 points a game on average, which eats into the 11.2 he was running. He also went over 15 points in just 1 of his 12 played weeks in 2025, so the big spike from week 4 of 2026 is not who he usually is. We projected him at 90 points for 2026, about 7.5 a game over the 12 we expected him to play. Deep leagues with an extra slot can wait on him. Anyone else, use the spot on a receiver who sees a field.
