Our read
Written Sep 8, from his facts through last season
The headline here is the games played column. 9 appearances in three seasons, zero in 2023 and 2024, and when he finally got on the field in 2025 he averaged 4.4 points a week and beat the position median exactly once. Even that season, he sat for 7 healthy weeks, and his snap share fell from 22% in weeks 2 to 5 to 6% in weeks 15 to 18. Our projection has him at 4 points with an expected 3 games. That is not a role, that is a name in a system.
The usage backs it up. An 11.1% snap share last year, 46 touches, 6 red-zone touches and one carry inside the ten all season. The one thing he did at a decent rate was as a receiver, 5.8% target share and 98 receiving yards, but at 1.1 yards average depth of target that is a checkdown valve, not a path to points. And he has now changed teams, MIN to CHI, which means learning a new offense from a standing start at age 27 as an undrafted fourth-year player. There is no ADP on file for him and no recent headlines, so you are drafting on 2025 film alone, a season where his best week was 16.4 and his worst was -0.2.
Drafters take him around pick 334, and I would let him go entirely. If you want a late running back dart, take one with a clear path to carries if the starter trips. Scott is a waiver-check name in October, not a draft pick.
