Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
Zero targets in four games. You cannot start a tight end with an empty stat line like that, and there is nothing on the other side of the ledger to argue for him. A rookie with no ADP at all was always a training-camp story, and through week 5 of 2026 the story has not gotten past the practice field. He played weeks 1 through 4 of 2026 and scored 0.0 points a game, then missed week 5 of 2026, and there has been no injury designation since before week 6, so he is healthy and still not producing.
The role explains the empty line without needing an excuse. Harold Fannin Jr. sits first among CLE tight ends and took 21% of the targets in 2025, with Jerry Jeudy at 20%, and a rookie third on the depth chart behind Fannin and Blake Whiteheart does not see the ball in that arrangement. Todd Monken and Travis Switzer are both new to their jobs in 2026, which theoretically opens the door for an unknown, but four weeks of nothing says the door has not opened.
Our preseason number was 9 points for the full season on 6 expected games, about 1.5 a game, and he is running well under even that thin pace. He sits one player from a 2.7-point drop at the bottom of the tight end board. If you are carrying him, you are carrying a name. Let him go and watch whether an injury ahead of him ever hands him snaps.
