Our read
Written Oct 18, from his facts through last season
Four games into 2026 and his totals are all zeros: no targets, no catches, no carries, no points. KC's bye came in week 5 of 2026, so there is not even a near miss to point at. This was never a player we expected anything from, our preseason projection was 11 points across the 11 games we thought he might dress for, and he is pacing under that already.
The reason is the role, or the lack of one. Last year he played behind Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce, who took 48% of KC's targets between them, and Remigio himself finished with a 0.2% target share and a 3.3% snap share, ranking near the bottom of 239 qualifying receivers. The depth chart has not helped him in 2026 either: sixth among KC wideouts, behind Rice, Worthy, Tyquan Thornton and Jalen Royals, with Andy Reid still calling the plays himself. The 18-yard average depth of target is the only mildly interesting number in his file, because it says KC used him as a throwaway deep option when it used him at all.
There is a real cost baked into a profile like this. A 1.6% target share has cost players in his spot 1.1 points a game on average from one season to the next, and crowded target rooms have docked guys in his spot another 0.9 on average. Neither number is his, they are averages for his spot, and he is scoring nothing to lose anyway. He is 26.9, a fourth-year undrafted receiver, and there is no sign of a sudden leap coming. The one thing we would watch: a late-season home stretch against NE and SF in weeks 15 and 16 of 2026, if injuries ahead of him on the chart ever push him into real snaps. Until we see that, he is a let-go in leagues of any depth.
