Our read
Written Oct 19, from his facts through last season
Four missed weeks in a row tell you where this is going. He played week 1 of 2026, caught nothing, scored 0 points, and has not been on the field since, sitting with an O designation heading into week 6 of 2026. Our number before the season was 19 points over 9 expected games, roughly 2.1 a game, and he has not come close to earning even that thin slice.
The path to anything was always blocked. There was no ADP for him anywhere, and the depth chart we hold lists him sixth at the position, behind Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers and Josh Cameron. Meyers and Thomas took 42% of the targets between them in 2025, so the scraps at the bottom of that rotation were never going to matter unless injuries forced them to. The offense runs fast, 33.2 seconds a play, but that helps the names ahead of him first.
He is 23, a rookie, and we have no track record on him at all, so a surprise is not impossible. But a surprise needs playing time, and there is no sign of it coming. The middle range on our board runs 7 to 31 points and the low end is injury-shortened seasons, which is exactly the shape his year has taken so far. Release him and spend the roster spot on a receiver with a live role. If some desperate manager wants to take a flier off your hands, fine, but you should not be carrying him through his week 7 of 2026 bye.
