Zach Wilson

He has not played a single game in 2026. Weeks 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of 2026 all went by with Wilson inactive, and he carries an Out designation going into week 6. We expected 5 games out of him all season, and even that low bar now needs weeks he has yet to give anyone.

The deeper problem is that even a healthy Wilson was never playing. In 2025 he appeared in 4 games, averaged 0.3 points a game, and never cracked a single week above the position median. His best week was week 1 of 2025 with 1.58 points. The snap share sat at 10.9% of team snaps, which is backup territory, and the one route he ran got him nothing in the receiving column.

In New Orleans he is listed third among the quarterbacks, behind Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler, so there is no injury or benching scenario that gets him on the field while both are standing. The preseason number of 20 points for the year came with the assumption he would at least dress and spot-start a handful of times, and 2023, when he threw for 115.9 points over 12 games, is three seasons and one concussion ago. Our number has him at QB65 on our board for a reason. If he is somehow still occupying a roster spot in your league, that spot is worth more empty. Let him go and use the open seat on a quarterback from this week of 2026 who actually has a path to snaps.
