Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
Anything you want from Dylan Laube lives in one week. Weeks 1 through 4 of 2026 gave you nothing, a flat zero in each, and then week 5 of 2026 handed him 11.5 points on three catches. That is the whole shape of a fourth receiving option in an offense that sent 42% of its 2025 targets to Brock Bowers and Tre Tucker.
The role is not real yet. He sat at a 2.7% snap share in 2025, RB141 among 158 qualifying running backs, with zero red-zone touches and zero touches inside the ten, and he is listed third in Las Vegas behind Ashton Jeanty. New play caller Andrew Janocko and new head coach Klint Kubiak could redraw the backfield, but nothing in the first five weeks shows it. He has been healthy all season, so this is not an availability problem, it is a usage problem.
Before the season we gave him 13 points for the year, a middle range of 2 to 23, and a pace of 1.0 points a game over the 13 games we expected him to play. The low end of his history is the caution: 0.3 points a game in 2025, RB121 among 159 qualifying running backs, and he never finished a week above the position's median in 17 tries. He has not been worth a roster spot to this point, and one decent week does not change that. Release him unless your league runs so deep you can park him until the Jeanty situation forces a change, and even then we would not argue with moving on first.
