Our read
Written Oct 19, from his facts through last season
Jadarian Price landed on IR before week 4 of 2026, so right now he is a roster spot producing nothing. He played in week 1, week 2 and week 3 of 2026, then sat out week 4 of 2026 and week 5 of 2026, and while the designation stands he plays no games and our board ranks him below every available running back. Whatever you thought you were getting when drafters took him at 66.1 overall is frozen until a return shows up on the report.
The three weeks we did get were thin. 4.7 points a game, no touchdowns, 28 carries for 119 yards, and only 3 of 38 red-zone touches, which put him RB56 among backs with 20 or more carries and targets. The one thing we liked was 1.7 yards after contact a carry, RB28 among 53 backs. He was listed first among SEA running backs, so the path was there. But a first-rounder drafted before the season at 66.1, just 22.9 years old, missing a month of his first season is exactly the kind of thing that pulls a season toward the low tail we set at 54 points, injuries pooled in.
Before the season we projected him for 122 points, with 12 games expected, and that pace came to about 10.2 points a game. We had him RB33. To reach anything near that he would need to come back, take the role, and stay on the field, and there is no record from a prior season to lean on. Hold only if you have an IR spot to spare and can wait out the designation. If you are carrying him on an active spot, that is the move to fix this week.
