Our read
Written Sun 12:01 am Central, for week 6
Dolphins are on bye in week 6 of 2026, so Dulcich gives you nothing this week. He leads Miami's tight end depth chart heading into week 7 at the Jets, where his next game kicks off Sunday 12:00 pm Central. His season sits at 5.1 PPR points a game with 0 touchdowns, and in our rest-of-season order he checks in at 42.7 PPR points, TE38. Keep him benched this week and fill the roster spot with someone who plays.
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
The case for Dulcich starts with hands and ends with touchdowns. Thirteen catches on 17 targets through week 5 of 2026, no drops, and 2 of 5 contested grabs, TE4 among tight ends with enough contested looks. He is first on the depth chart in Miami with Kacmarek, Traore, Joly and Turner behind him. That is the whole resume, and it is thin.
The problem is what those catches turn into. A 6.2-yard average depth of target over the 17 targets in weeks 1, 2, 3 and 5 of 2026 means he is catching the ball where the field ends. Zero carries, zero touchdowns, and a week 4 of 2026 goose egg. His scoring-range work in 2025 was modest too, 7 red-zone touches and 3 inside the ten, both around TE35, so this is not a new hole. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle took 47% of Miami's targets last season, and nothing suggests that changed.
We had him at 71 points before the season, with 12 games expected, and the health worry was the reason. Hamstring trouble took most of his 2023, the injury report listing him Out from week 7 of 2023 on, though he has played every week of 2026 so far with no designation. Our number sits 8.2 points under the 78.8 average for tight ends drafted near his 169.9 ADP, and that gap is what injury risk and this usage cost him. He is running about at our pace, 5.1 points a game against the 5.9 we figured. That is not enough to start, and week 6 of 2026 is his bye anyway. Hold him on a deep roster, drop him for a tight end with a path to the end zone.
