Our read
Written Sun 12:01 am Central, for week 6
Cincinnati sits on bye in week 6 of 2026, so Jack Endries plays no part this week and a roster spot of yours scores nothing from him. His next chance comes in week 7, away at the Ravens, kicking off Sunday at 12:00 pm Central. Even then he's fourth among Bengals tight ends behind Mike Gesicki and Drew Sample, with 0 PPR points in his lone game this season, and TE134 in our rest-of-season order. Leave him parked on your bench this week and plug a fill-in into the lineup spot he'd have taken.
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
Endries has played one game this season, week 2 of 2026, and scored 0.0 points in it. Weeks 1, 3, 4 and 5 of 2026 he did not play, and there is no injury designation, so this looks like a coach's decision rather than a health one. He is listed fourth among Cincinnati tight ends behind Gesicki and Sample, and Taylor calls the plays himself, so the path to snaps runs through a coach who has not chosen to use him.
The context makes it worse, not better. Chase and Higgins combined for 51% of Cincinnati's targets in 2025, and this is a 63% pass rate offense at 32.6 seconds a play, which is fine for wideouts and does nothing for a fourth tight end. He is a 22.5 year old rookie with no ADP before the season, and we expected 7 games and 2.0 points a game. Even that low bar assumed he would be on the field. Our own board has him TE111, and only one other player sits in his tier before a 1.4-point cliff, so there is almost nothing separating him from the players you would drop first.
Our preseason number was 14 points for the full year, with most outcomes between 5 and 23. That range was built on him playing, and he has played once. His bye in week 6 of 2026 is still to come, so there is not even a week off to wait through. In a league where you need a roster spot for anything live, this is the easiest cut on the board. Watch only for a Gesicki injury or a sudden jump to the second tight end role, and revisit if either happens.
