Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
The passing numbers are carrying him right now. Ten touchdowns and 1,037 yards across weeks 1 through 4 of 2026, 20.9 points a game, and week 2's 28.98 is the kind of week that wins a matchup on its own. He has started all four of his games this season and the bye in week 5 of 2026 is already behind him, so there is nothing to plan around. The 17.7 points a game we projected for him over 14 expected games was our preseason read, and he is beating it.
The part that keeps him at QB13 on our board instead of higher is the pocket. He has been pressured on 22% of his dropbacks, blitzed on 28% of charted dropbacks, and his completion rate sits 1.5 percentage points below expectation, QB25 among 35 quarterbacks with 50 or more tracked attempts. That is a real dock, and it showed in weeks 3 and 4 of 2026, when 15.94 and 17 points landed back to back. The volume never wobbles, he held a 97.2% snap share last season and ran an 80% red-zone share of his own touches, best among 64 qualifying quarterbacks, but the efficiency is the thing to watch.
Three straight seasons as a top-11 scoring quarterback, Reid still calling plays, and a closing stretch in weeks 15 to 17 of 2026 with two home games before the finale at LAC. Our number is 248 points and our rank is 90th overall, ahead of where drafters took him at 104.3. Hold him, start him every week, and let the pressure numbers argue themselves out.
