Jayden Daniels carries no designation on Sunday's report and tops the Washington depth chart for the Monday 7:15 pm Central kickoff at San Francisco in week 6 of 2026. The published projection has him down for 18.8 points in PPR scoring this week. Last week he torched the Giants for 30.3 PPR points, and through week 5 he averages 20.9 PPR points a game over 3 games with 5 touchdowns. The 49ers rank 6th of 32 teams against quarterbacks, giving up 13.1 PPR points a game. He's healthy and back in rhythm, so roll him out Monday night.

Week 5 of 2026 told you the good version still exists: 30.26 points on 459 pass yards and 203 rush yards across his three starts, 20.9 a game. The legs are what make him worth starting whenever he is out there, and defenses are sending pressure at him on 22% of dropbacks and blitzing on 41% of his charted ones without it breaking him. He has cleared 15 points in six of his last seven starts going back to 2025, and his accuracy has held up too, finishing just 0.2 percentage points below expectation on 76 tracked attempts, QB22 among 35 quarterbacks.
The cost is availability, and it is not theoretical. He missed weeks 3 and 4 of 2026, played only 7 of 17 in 2025, and sat from week 15 of 2025 on with the elbow listed as Out. Our 12-game expectation for 2026 was set before any of that happened. Last year also showed what happens when he plays hurt and off rhythm: 16.0 points a game, his yards per touch down from 6.0 to 4.8, a QB34 finish among 81 qualifying quarterbacks. The fall from 20.6 in 2024 is the number that keeps us from ranking him higher than QB15, and the contrast with the season before is stark, 17 of 17 games played in 2024 for 349.8 points, QB5 among 69.
So our projection, 233 points, sits 20 points under the 252.8 that quarterbacks drafted near his 74.3 average, with injuries pooled into that group. With his bye in week 7 of 2026, we would keep starting him in week 6 and every week after that he is cleared, and eat the zeros when they come.
