Our read
Written Oct 18, from his facts through last season
The 2026 season has given him nothing to work with: 3 carries, 32 rush yards, zero targets, and 1.1 points a game across the three weeks he played. He sat out weeks 3 and 4 of 2026 without an injury designation, which usually means the coaches simply went another way. Third on the ARI depth chart behind Jeremiyah Love and Tyler Allgeier, there is no role waiting for him here.
Last season was the good version of Bam Knight, and it still was not much. 93 points over 12 games, RB49 among qualifying backs, one week above 15 points, a 33.9% snap share that ranked RB56. His best week was 16.8 points in week 13 of 2025, and inside that season his snap share swung from 17% to 35% depending on the stretch of weeks. The scoring-range work was real, 22 red-zone touches and 14 inside the ten, but a third of his points coming from touchdowns is the kind of profile that has cost players in his spot 6.2 points a game the next season on average, and 2026 is proving it out.
The availability history is bleak in its own right: a shoulder cost him weeks 6 through 18 of 2023, he played zero games in 2024, and last season ended after week 15 of 2025 with a reserve listing and no body part named. Our 46-point projection assumed 12 games and a job, and Mike LaFleur and Nathaniel Hackett are new and have shown no interest in him. This is a drop in any league that needs the spot.
