Miami doesn't play in week 6 of 2026, so Ollie Gordon II scores no points for you this week and can't fill any lineup spot. His next game comes in week 7, away at the Jets with a 12:00 pm Central kickoff. He's been producing behind De'Von Achane lately, with 18 PPR points at Minnesota in week 4 and 14.8 PPR points against Cincinnati in week 5, even while listed third among Miami's backs. In our rest-of-season order he sits at 67.7 PPR points, RB44, so keep him on the roster and find a fill-in for this week's empty spot.
Written Oct 19, from his facts through last season
Three straight weeks of touchdowns changed what Ollie Gordon II is doing. Weeks 1 and 2 of 2026 gave him 0 and 0.7 points, then 14.5, 18 and 14.8 the last three weeks. Three scores on 5 catches and 47 carries. He is 9.6 points a game against the 3.5 pace we set for him before the season, and the difference is almost entirely the end zone.
The role behind that is real. He takes 39% of Miami's red-zone carries and targets in his games, RB16 among the 65 backs with at least 20 touches of their own, and 40% of the work inside the ten. On a team where De'Von Achane gets his own share, that is a clear short-yardage and scoring job, and Jeff Hafley and Bobby Slowik have kept using it. The contact numbers hold up too, 2.0 yards after contact a carry.
The worry is the shape of his scoring. 44.4% of his points come from touchdowns, and that profile has cost players in his spot 13.7 points a game the next season on average, net of 8 factors. When the scores dry up, his receiving work, 5 targets in five weeks, will not carry him. He is also listed third among MIA running backs, and the bye hits in week 6 of 2026 before you can use him again. Keep in mind our preseason number was only 46 points for the whole year, so even this hot stretch is not outrunning the range we drew for him.
Hold him and ride the red-zone role while it lasts. If two straight weeks go scoreless, he is a bench name, not a starter.
