Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
The numbers this season are almost empty: 6 targets, 5 catches, 22 yards, no touchdowns, and 2.4 points a game across three weeks. He did not play at all in weeks 3 and 4 of 2026, and while there is no injury designation since before week 5, we cannot call him healthy and productive yet.
The 2025 film says the ceiling was never big. He stayed on the field for 81% of the snaps, tenth among 137 qualifying tight ends, but turned that into an 18.5% target share and only 8 red-zone touches all year. Garrett Wilson took 34% of the targets, and with Tanner Engstrand back calling plays for Aaron Glenn, nothing on the depth chart or the scheme suggests that changes in year two. He topped 15 points once in 13 weeks last season, and his worst week was 1.2 in week 6 of 2025. Last year came out to 87 points in total, which put him 33rd among 137 qualifying tight ends, and he still sits first on the depth chart with Kenyon Sadiq, Jeremy Ruckert and Jelani Woods behind him.
The neck matters more than the usage. His 2025 season ended after week 14 of 2025 with the injury report listing him out, and that kind of history is what pulls a range like his down to 52 points at the low end. Our 86-point projection came with 15 games expected, and he has already burned two.
If you drafted him you took a flier, since he had no ADP. The call now is to let him go and spend the roster spot elsewhere.
