Our read
Written Sep 8, from his facts through last season
Two games all last season, first snap in week 14, and 0.4 points a game when he got on the field. That's the whole picture. We project him for 3 points this year with maybe one start, and he sits QB85 on our board. There is no ADP on file for him, which in a real draft means he's a waiver-wire name, not a pick you spend.
The usage is the part that should kill any lingering hope. He played 11.2% of snaps last year, QB72 among 78 qualifying quarterbacks, on a 13-win team with a returning coaching staff. Liam Coen and Grant Udinski are both back, so the setup isn't changing around him. He's a veteran holding a clipboard behind whatever the actual plan is in Jacksonville. His three-year line backs it up: 0.8 points in 2025, 1.3 in 2024, and the last real season you can point to was 66.7 points in 2023, four years and one career ago.
The realistic range here is -1 to 7 points, and even the top of that isn't a roster-worthy outcome. The availability line has him expected for one game, four at most once injury risk enters the math, and the low tail comes from seasons shortened by injury. The books posted Jacksonville at 8.5 wins, and none of that touches him. My call: leave him undrafted entirely. If an injury in your league forces a hand, pick him up off the wire in week 1 and drop him the moment the streamer returns.
