Our read
Written Sep 8, from his facts through last season
Two games all of last season, and the sheet is clear that none of the fifteen weeks he sat were injury. That is the whole case against him. A 28-year-old back who was a healthy scratch most of the year in Jacksonville is not one new jersey away from relevance, and the 3 touches on the season back that up.
There is a small interesting wrinkle buried in the numbers. When he did get on the field, the ball came to him near the goal line, that 25% red-zone share ranked RB13 among 146 qualifying backs. But one red-zone touch a game is a rounding error, and it still shows up as -1.3 points against him because there is no volume behind it. The 6.8% snap share, worth just a point a game, tells you what the coaches thought of the rest of his game. Minnesota is a fresh start and he cleared week 1 of the season healthy with no designation on file, but there is no signal anywhere that a real role is waiting.
The history says this is what he is. Even his busy 2024 was 15 points across 16 games, RB94 among 125. Our number puts him at 3 points this season, RB144 at the position. With no ADP on file, he is not going where you need to react. Leave him on the board entirely. If you want a running back in the last round, take one with a path to touches, because Dallas has not had one in two years.
