Our read
Written Sep 8, from his facts through last season
A rookie year that ended before it started: 3 games, first appearance in week 15, 3 total touches, zero targets, zero red-zone work. He finished RB137 among 147 qualifying backs at 0.2 points a game, and his best week was 0.4. That's the player our number is projecting, 2 points for the whole season.
The usage explains it. A 2.1% snap share, RB141 among 146 qualifying backs, and no path to more of it inside a Tennessee offense that won 3 games and ran 54% situation-neutral passes. The new staff of Robert Saleh and Brian Daboll gives him a clean slate in theory, but a sixth-round pick from 2025 who couldn't get on the field for 6 healthy weeks is not first in line for anyone's slate. Eight games missed to injury or a reserve list last year makes even the 3 games we project him for feel optimistic, and the realistic range runs from 0 to 9.
The honest bottom end is ugly: the full range bottoms out at 0, and those low seasons are the ones shortened by injury, which is exactly the risk he already carries. Our number has him at 2 points, and there's no ADP on file for a reason. There is no scenario in this league where you draft Kalel Mullings. Let someone else carry him on a taxi squad. If you want a Titans back, wait and see who the new staff actually trusts in September.
