Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
He has played every week this season and produced almost nothing with the playing time: 4 targets, 1 catch, 13 yards, and 0.5 points a game through week 5 of 2026. That is not a slow start so much as the role doing exactly what it did last year, when he caught 8 passes over 7 games and finished TE87 among 137 qualifying tight ends.
The problem is structural. He sits second on the depth chart behind Kyle Pitts, with Austin Hooper third, and in 2025 London and Pitts took 53% of Atlanta's targets between them. His own target share was 1.7%, TE100 among 137, and his average depth of target was 1.3 yards, TE115 among 125. That is a blocker's route tree, and new play caller Tommy Rees has given no indication it will look different.
We set our number at 63 points for 2026 off 15 expected games, about 4.2 a game, and the full range ran 47 to 79 in the middle with injuries dragging the low tail to 33. Even the low end looks generous next to what he has actually scored. He cleared 15 points in 0 of his 7 played weeks in 2025, and the bye does not come until week 11 of 2026, so there is no schedule relief coming either. A 28-year-old seventh-year pro with no injury designation is healthy and still this quiet. Roster spots are worth more than this. If he is somehow holding one for you, cut him and add a player who can help.
