Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
Three targets, three catches, 40 yards, and three of five weeks of 2026 at exactly 0 points. That is Josh Cuevas so far, 1.4 points a game, and the reason is easy to see: he is listed fourth among Baltimore tight ends, behind Mark Andrews, Durham Smythe and Matthew Hibner. He has not missed a week, so this is not a health question. It is a role question, and right now he does not have one.
Our preseason number never asked much of him. We put him at 50 points for 2026, TE70 at the position, with a middle range of 33 to 68. Even that assumed 4.2 points a game across the 12 games we expected, and he is under it. The path to targets is blocked anyway: Zay Flowers took 29% of BAL targets in 2025 and Mark Andrews took 17%, which covers a big slice of an offense that now runs under a first-year staff in Jesse Minter and play caller Declan Doyle. A rookie blocking tight end does not break into that rotation by playing well on special teams. We hold no ADP for him, which fits a player this far down the list.
Relevance would take an Andrews injury, and that is not a plan, it is a hope. His bye does not come until week 13 of 2026, so any roster spot he holds is a spot held for nothing. Drop him for a tight end with a live role. If you play in a dynasty league, he is a fine name to remember next year, but he does not need your bench to survive.
