Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
Fifteen targets in five weeks, 3.2 points a game, and two weeks with nothing at all. That is where Jeudy is through week 5 of 2026, and nothing in the early usage says a turnaround is loading. His average target is traveling 9.0 yards, which puts him near the bottom of the group with 15 or more targets. The deep-ball role he had in 2025 has not come back.
If you are waiting for him to turn it around, the only reason comes from last season's volume, not from anything he has put on the field this year. He played 17 games in 2025 and held a 20.3% target share on an 85% snap share, and among receivers in that spot, points a game rose about 5 on average the following year. His snap share alone was worth 2.9 more points a game on average for comparable players. The problem is everything around it. A crowded target room cost similar receivers 0.9 points a game, and 5.5 expected team wins cost another 0.8. His own scoring-range profile, 9 red-zone touches and just 3 inside the ten last season, does not help him either.
So you are holding a receiver who went from 13.94 points a game in 2024 to 7.1 in 2025 and is now under 4 this year. Before the season we projected him at 152 points for the year, but our pace for him was 10.1 a game, and through five weeks he is nowhere close. There is a new play caller in town, but he has to show it first. Deep leagues can stash him one more month. Otherwise the waiver wire has better uses for the spot.
