Our read
Written Sun 12:01 am Central, for week 6
Minnesota doesn't play this week, so Jordan Addison scores nothing in week 6 of 2026 no matter how his Questionable tag on Sunday's report shakes out. Keep him out of your lineup and let the bye pass, then check him before week 7, when the Vikings host Indianapolis at noon Central. He missed week 5, and his 8.3 PPR points a game this season make him a stash rather than a starter right now. Find a fill-in for this week and hold him on the roster.
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
Eight points a game through four weeks of 2026 is not why we kept him at 168 for the season, and it is not why you should keep him either. The week 3 of 2026 spike to 20 points came off the same usage as the quiet weeks, and the deep role is the part that travels: 37% of MIN's air yards in his games this year, 14th among 64 receivers, and he is winning down the field, +1.6 yards after the catch over expectation per tracked catch, 6th among 58. When that ball starts coming down, the box score follows.
The worry is what he was, not what he is. His points a game fell from 14.17 in 2024 to 9.65 in 2025, and a crowded room has cost receivers in his spot 0.9 points a game on average. Jefferson took 30% of Minnesota's targets in 2025 while Addison took 20% of the team's targets, and that tax sits on every projection here. Our number still clears it because receivers with a 19.6% target share of their team's targets and an 85.2% snap share gained points a game in each of the spot groups we checked, and O'Connell is back calling the plays himself.
Availability is the near-term item. He missed week 5 of 2026, has been questionable since before week 7 of 2026, and the week 6 bye falls right in front of his return, so we may not see him play again until week 7 of 2026. That is a lost stretch if the injury drags, and our expectation of 14 games was set before any of this happened. Hold through the bye. If he is out there in week 7 of 2026, start him.
