Three missed weeks out of five, and an O tag sitting there before week 6 of 2026 even arrives. That is the Ashton Dulin case right now. The games were never going to be there, we expected 12 all season, and he has already burned three of the first five weeks of 2026 on the inactive list. When he has dressed he gave you 3 catches on 7 targets for 29 yards, 3.0 points a game, and the 31 points we put on him before the season always assumed those weeks would be rare and thin.
The role behind the numbers is the real problem. He is fourth among the Indianapolis receivers, behind Alec Pierce, Josh Downs and Keenan Allen, and in 2025 Tyler Warren and Michael Pittman together pulled 42% of the targets. Dulin ran routes on 21.2% of the snaps with a 2.7% target share, which is a niche deep role, his 15.8-yard average depth of target was 27th among qualifying receivers but the volume never followed. Players in his spot have shed 0.9 points a game from one season to the next, and his own track shows it: 20 points over 12 games in 2025, over 5 points in a single week once, and he cleared 15 points in none of his 12 starts.
This is a name to release for the next live waiver add. Unless the depth chart in front of him gets torn up by injury, there is no week ahead where 3.0 points a game helps a roster.
