Our read
Written Sep 8, from his facts through last season
The availability line is the whole case here: we expect 3 games, with a realistic range of 0 to 9, and that is before you get to what he would even do with the snaps. Last season he appeared in one game, week 12, scored 0 points, and sat as a healthy scratch 13 other weeks. His 2024 season was 1.5 points over 7 games. There is no trend line pointing up. Even his best season, 2023, was 14.7 points over 11 games, WR130 among 158.
The move from CIN to NYG does not open anything. The Giants room is crowded enough that it costs him -0.9 a game by our math, and his 2025 role in Cincinnati was a 2.2% snap share with a 2.9% target share. He never touched the ball inside the red zone. One quirk, an average depth of target of 42 yards, second only to Mecole Hardman, tells you the role was a go-route specialist with no volume attached. The books posted the Giants at 10.5 wins, so this is not a bad team, just one with no room for him.
No ADP on file, a position rank of WR239 on our board, and 1 player left in his tier before a 0.3-point cliff. This is a deepest-of-deep league stash at best, and even then you are stashing a guy who may play 3 games. He is undraftable in every format I run. Let him go and spend the pick on a running back handcuff or a tight end dart with an actual path to snaps.
