Our read
Written Sun 12:01 am Central, for week 6
The Lions don't play in week 6 of 2026, so Meeks sits on bye and scores nothing for you this week. His next shot is week 7 at home against the Packers. Even then the path is narrow: he's fourth among Detroit receivers behind Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Isaac TeSlaa, and he's played just two games this season at 0.9 PPR points a game with no touchdowns. Keep him on the roster if you can spare the seat, and fill his lineup spot with someone who's active.
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
The 2026 line so far is one catch, 8 yards, no touchdowns, and it took two active weeks to get there. He did not play in weeks 1, 4 and 5 of 2026, and the 0.9 points a game tell you exactly what his role has been. Fourth on the Detroit depth chart behind Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Isaac TeSlaa, with St. Brown and Sam LaPorta having taken half the targets in 2025, there is no path opening here. He is 23.5 and entering his second season as an undrafted 2025 signing, and last year he played 0 of 17 games, every one of them a healthy week he did not dress. The offense would help a young receiver if he could get on it, 55% of situation-neutral plays a pass in 2025 at 33.4 seconds a play, but that volume flows to the men ahead of him.
We gave him 30 points for the season before it started, built on 9 expected games, and the weeks he has already sat out make that look generous. We had no ADP for him before the season, and the 2.8-point cliff behind his tier says the next group down is barely distinguishable anyway. No injury designation since before week 7 of 2026, so the absences are coach's decisions, which is worse news than a sore hamstring.
He is a waiver-wire hold at best in the deepest leagues, and in 12-team formats you can do more with the spot. Watch whether he is active after the bye in week 6 of 2026. The weeks 15 to 17 of 2026 stretch, at MIN, home against NYG, at CHI, only matters if he is dressing by then. If weeks keep going by without him, move on.
