Our read
Written Sun 12:01 am Central, for week 6
The Vikings don't play in week 6 of 2026, so Myles Price does not play this week and scores nothing, with his next game coming week 7 at home against the Colts. When they return, he's fifth among Minnesota receivers on Thursday's depth chart, behind Jefferson, Addison, Jennings and Felton, and 1.2 PPR points a game through week 5 with no touchdowns tells you where his touches stand. He sits at WR192 with 14.7 points the rest of the way in our rest-of-season order. Keep him stashed if your bench has room, and fill his lineup spot this week with a receiver who's actually playing.
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
The numbers from 2025 were as empty as a receiver's numbers get. Zero points over 16 games, a 1.8% snap share, and not a single target that counted. So the only question entering 2026 was whether a new season meant a new role under Kevin O'Connell.
Five weeks in, it does not. He has suited up every week, which is something, and the last two weeks actually produced: 2.8 points in week 4 of 2026 and 3 in week 5, on 7 targets and 5 catches for the season. That is 1.2 points a game, and it came against soft expectations we set before the season, 0.8 a game over the 13 we projected. But he is still listed fifth among Minnesota receivers, behind Justin Jefferson, who took 30% of the targets in 2025, and Jordan Addison, who took 20%, and behind Jauan Jennings and Tai Felton too. A 24.7-year-old second-year undrafted player fifth on that list is not about to climb it this year.
The real downside is baked in already: we gave him 11 points for the full season, and the middle range of outcomes runs 1 to 21. There is no week ahead on the schedule that changes the depth chart, and the bye lands in week 6 of 2026, so the decision is easy this week. We would let him go and carry a receiver who has a role now. If you are holding him out of loyalty to the two decent weeks, we would need to see him passed Felton before that patience pays.
