Our read
Written Sep 8, from his facts through last season
The thing that should end your interest before you even look at the numbers: he has not actually been on the field. Zero games in 2024, zero in 2023, and last year he appeared in 8 of 17 with the other 9 healthy weeks he just did not play. Our number has him for 3 games this season, with a realistic range of 0 to 9. That is not a depth chart note, that is the whole note. A receiver you project for single-digit points has no fantasy case.
And even in the games he played, the production was thin. 4.0 points a game in 2025, above the position's weekly median in 2 of 8 weeks, a season high of 10.9. The usage backs that up: 8.5% of targets, and a touchdown-points share that costs him 2 points a game by our accounting. The one number that flirts with something interesting is his average depth of target at 14.8 yards, good for WR34, but a deep threat who sees a target once every dozen drops is a highlight reel, not a starter. There is also a factor dragging on him worth -0.7 a game and a crowded target room worth another -0.9.
He moved from CIN to HOU, and our number sits at 5 points with a rank of WR216 on a board where nobody in their right mind drafts WR216. Drafters are taking him around pick 348 anyway, and there are only 4 players left in his tier before a cliff. Let him go. He is a name you will recognize in week 15 and consider for a streaming week, and even then, only if something on the depth chart has actually broken open. I would rather use that roster spot on a rookie flyer with real snap potential.
