Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
Seven targets in five games. That is the case against him, and it is airtight. His best week of 2026 was 5.8 points in week 5 of 2026, and he blanked outright in week 2 of 2026. Six catches, 53 yards, no scores, zero carries, and the Titans are at 2.3 points a game from a player we set at 9.4 a game before the season. Our full-season projection was 131 points, and he is nowhere near that pace.
The depth chart finishes the argument. He is listed fourth among Tennessee receivers, behind Carnell Tate, Wan'Dale Robinson and Calvin Ridley, with Elic Ayomanor also in the building. Robert Saleh and Brian Daboll are new and owe him nothing. Last season his 14.0% target share ranked WR70 among 239 qualifying receivers, and that was with more opportunity than he has now.
Even the 2025 base looks shaky on inspection. He cleared 15 points in just 3 of 17 weeks, his worst week was -0.4, and an 8.1-yard average depth of target is not a recipe for spikes. The red-zone work that propped him up last year is gone too: 16 red-zone touches and 7 inside the ten, both top-20 among qualifying receivers, but with the volume dried up those chances are simply not coming. What looked like last year's WR53 finish came from a volume he no longer has, and the 423 receiving yards at WR68 were never going to carry a PPR season by themselves.
If you are carrying him, stop. There is nothing on the schedule or the depth chart that turns this around, and his bye comes in week 9 of 2026 anyway, so use the roster spot on someone who will actually see targets.
