Our read
Written Oct 19, from his facts through last season
One game, one catch, 13 yards. That is the entire 2026 body of work for a fourth-round rookie who has missed weeks 1, 2, 3 and 5 of 2026 and carries a designation into week 6 of 2026. We set him at 45 points for the season over 11 expected games, about 4.1 a game, and that number already assumed he would need time. The low end of the range sits at 27 points, and injuries are what pull it down there. He has not been worth much of anything so far.
The reason to keep expectations low sits on the depth chart. He is listed fifth among BAL wideouts, behind Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, Ja'Kobi Lane and Devontez Walker, and last season Flowers and Mark Andrews combined for 46% of the targets. He turned 23.3 on opening day, so he came in old for a rookie, and he is working behind four names on a team that played 48% of its situation-neutral snaps as passes last year. Jesse Minter and Declan Doyle are both new to their jobs this year, so the pecking order is not settled, but a fifth receiver on a depth chart is not where rookie breakouts start. His bye arrives in week 13 of 2026, which only stretches the wait.
If you have a deep bench and roster spots to burn, holding him through the new staff's first stretch of games is defensible. Otherwise this is a let-him-go. What would change our mind: healthy scratches turning into real snaps, and a target or two a game actually landing his way.
