Our read
Written Sep 8, from his facts through last season
The number that matters here is the one point our projection gives him, sitting in a middle range of -1 to 3. That is a player we expect to barely see the field, and the games figure backs it up: around 1 appearance, with 0 to 2 realistic once injury risk is baked in. You cannot draft what does not play, and there is nothing in his profile that argues against that read yet.
The context is a rookie who went undrafted out of the 2026 class, with no ADP anywhere on file. His rank by our own board is 666 overall and WR260, and he sits six players from a 0.1-point cliff in his tier, so there is nobody drafted behind him pushing him up. He lands in an offense that throws on 54% of situation-neutral snaps at 33.4 seconds a play under O'Connell, who calls it himself, so the scheme would welcome a live receiver if one emerged. At 22.8 years old he is a developmental body on the depth chart, not a piece of the plan in week 1. His bye lands in week 6, which you will never feel with a roster this thin. The books posting Minnesota at 8.5 wins tells you the team expects to be playing meaningful games late, but the weeks 15 to 17 stretch against DET, WSH and NYJ means nothing to a player fighting for a roster spot.
The call is simple: he is going undrafted in your league too, and that is correct. If he somehow makes noise in camp, he is a free agent add in October, not a pick in August.
