Our read
Written Sun 12:01 am Central, for week 6
Miami sits on bye in week 6 of 2026, so Miller scores nothing this week and his next chance is week 7, away at the Jets on Sunday at 12:00 pm Central. There's no designation on Sunday's report, but he's sixth among Miami's receivers on Thursday's depth chart, behind Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell, with 4.6 PPR points a game over 4 games this season. A manager holding him keeps him benched this week, covers the spot with a fill-in, and waits to see if the Jets trip even moves him into the picture.
Written Oct 18, from his facts through last season
One good week does not rescue this case. The 14.7 points in week 2 of 2026 came on a deep catch and a touchdown, and since then he has run up three straight weeks under the bar, with zeros in weeks 4 and 5 of 2026. Four targets in four games is not a receiver a contender can start.
The role is nowhere. He is listed sixth among Miami wideouts, behind Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert and Caleb Douglas, and Miami already spent 47% of 2025 targets on Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Last season he played under a 15% snap share and took a 1% target share, and even the red-zone looks that once propped him up amount to one such touch all of 2025. His per-game scoring fell from 4.09 in 2024 to 1.27 in 2025, and that kind of fall among players in his spot carried a cost of 2 points a game the next year.
He sat out week 1 of 2026 and has been in the lineup for the four games since. Our number, 23 points for 2026 on 12 expected games, or 1.9 a game, has not aged badly. He has beaten that pace only because of one week. The touchdown-heavy profile is the trap: receivers who score this heavily on so few touches saw scoring drop 2 a game in the following season, and the crowded room cost similar players 0.9 more. If you grabbed him off waivers hoping the early spike held, the zeros since have settled it. Drop him and carry a receiver with an actual target path.
