Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
The debut is not the problem. Two catches and 4.9 points in week 5 of 2026 is fine for a first look. The problem is that it took five weeks to get there, and a rookie wideout who sits the first month of the season behind four names is telling you where the staff ranks him before he catches a pass. He sat out weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4 of 2026 before getting on the field, so the one game is all we have gone on. He is listed fifth in Arizona, and the two veterans ahead of him, Wilson and Bourne, work alongside a tight end who took 27% of the targets in 2025, with Wilson adding another 20% of his own.
There is no record for him before this year, so nothing in his past says he can climb a depth chart, and the only line on the page is one game of 4.9 points. Our number from before the season, 42 points over the 10 games we expected him to play, was built on a role he has not come close to claiming. New play caller Nathaniel Hackett and new head coach Mike LaFleur give the depth chart a fresh look, but a remake usually favors established players first. Arizona threw on 61% of situation-neutral plays in 2025, so there are targets in this offense for whoever climbs, and if he does, weeks 15 to 17 of 2026 against NYJ, NO and LV come at a friendly time.
The case is a stash at best, and only in the deepest leagues. With 5 players left in his tier before a 2.5-point drop, we would cut him for a healthier receiver unless week 6 of 2026 shows a real target jump.
