Our read
Written Oct 17, from his facts through last season
We expected almost nothing from Jordyn Tyson on the calendar, and he has delivered less than that: zero games through week 5 of 2026, on IR since before week 3 of 2026. Our preseason number was 92 points for the season, and it leaned on the 3 games we thought he'd play, a pace of 30.7 a game. Any path to those points is closed until he comes off the list, and while he is on it he ranks below every available wideout on the board.
The role case was thin to begin with. Drafters took him at 149.1 before the season, but the depth chart has him fifth behind Chris Olave, Devaughn Vele, Bryce Lance and Barion Brown, and Olave alone took 29% of the targets in 2025. A first-round rookie who cannot get on the field for five straight weeks, on a team with a returning coaching staff in Kellen Moore and Doug Nussmeier that already knows its pecking order, has no usage story to lean on this year.
The real downside shows in the gap itself: our 92 sits 20.7 points below the 112.6 that WRs drafted around his ADP of 149.1 have pooled to, and that comparison already absorbs injured seasons like the one he is living through. His bye in week 8 of 2026 takes another week off the board. Hold him only if your injured spot is sitting idle anyway and you can afford the wait, because the fantasy case this season is close to gone.
